Our Mission
at St. Peter & St. Andrew Church is To Worship + To Love + To Serve

Focusing on Worship (“Praise the Lord” Psalm 150:1-6), the love of God (because “God is Love” 1 John 4:8) and also on the love/serve of neighbor (“Love your neighbor as yourself” Mark 12:31) through community service and humanitarian work .

Mission Statement:
SPSA Coptic Orthodox Church strives to serve the local community in the image of Christ. Our goal is to worship, serve and love everyone around us unconditionally as Christ loved unconditionally. Our service includes celebrating the Holy Mysteries, while furthering the traditions of the Coptic Orthodox Church through Sunday School, assorted Bible studies and fellowships. As the church grows in the Stamford community, it will strive to further reach out and serve the community in a missionary fashion as Christ instructed us to “make disciples of all the nations”. (Matthew 28:19).

SPSA mission in Stamford is to provide social, ecumenical and religious needs to our Coptic Christian Orthodox community as well as non-Copts in the greater Fairfield county. We have several comprehensive programs including our social services outreach program which provides emotional and monetary support to our surrounding community regardless of race, color, sex, national origin, religion, age, disability, gender identity or marital status. We also provide youth with an enriching spiritual environment to socialize, gather, witness to our local community to fundraise and volunteer. Our Graduates & Young Professionals service service seeks to promote the understanding of Orthodox beliefs and principles through educational seminars, community service projects and fellowship building.
