The idea of starting a law corporation that is focused on providing affordable legal services was first inspired when Fadi K. Amer began representing low-income tenants in Boston, during his second year at Harvard Law School. The impact he made on the tenants’ lives and living conditions motivated Mr. Amer to build an institution that is focused on providing quality legal services at highly affordable rates. Coming from a low-income and immigrant family himself, Mr. Amer witnessed how poor and underprivileged clients were underserved by their lawyers or by the system.
