Founded in 1983 as a joint venture with three different insurance agencies, Der Manouel Insurance Group, originally San Joaquin Valley Insurance Associates (SJVIA), had grown from humble beginnings to one of the top 200 privately held insurance agencies in the United States by 2018.

For the past several years, with the addition of expertise in Employee Benefits, Almond Hulling and Processing, Farm and Ag, and Habitational risks, we’ve been able to focus on our Value Added service platform for our clients, delivering products and resources to help our clients be the best and most competitive in their industries.

In February of 2018 we brought our 30+ years of experience into a partnership with HUB International. During the process of evaluating possible partners, we were drawn to HUB not only because they add exceptional market buying power and a virtually limitless bench of specialists in both risk and employee benefits to our agency, but also because they share virtually all of our core values. We anticipate continued growth, improvement and development as a leading agency within the HUB organization, and are looking forward to the next 30 years!
