The Coptic Orthodox faith was established almost 2,000 years ago during the apostolic age when Saint Mark ministered in Egypt. Within half a century, the land that was once ruled by pharaohs and practiced paganism became a Christian nation. The Church maintains its traditions and teachings since the first century.
