Saint Mark Coptic Orthodox Church of Washington DC (St. Mark DC) was originally established in 1976. Our then small congregation of committed servants were dedicated to bringing the rich faith and history of the Orthodox Church to our nation’s capital. As the congregation grew, so did our church facilities and services.

Over 2000 years ago Saint Mark the Evangelist preached Christianity to the people of Egypt and today StMarkDC aims to maintain the same spirit and tradition in the DC Metro area. We are a vibrant local church, with deep ancient roots, and influential global reach!

Everyone is welcome to join us in worship, for weekly Bible Study, or plug into any of the dedicated services available for every age group and life phase from K2 through High School, from college to graduate, and for singles, couples, married couples, young families and beyond!
